These are my first Signature Disk Collections and I’m very excited about them. We have two design disks titled Scenery Ingredients 1 (#52) and 2 (#60) and another gorgeous CD filled with my Antique Linen designs, #62. Look at the online catalog for pictures and pricing. Most of you know who I am talking about when I mention Lindee Goodall. Lindee is the owner and founder of Cactus Punch Designs. She and I have known each other for over ten years. Our relationship began when Lindee came into the store where I worked wanted to see the computer machine that interfaced with Macs. I told her that I would show her the machine but I didn’t know much about computers. Boy, was that ever an understatement.  She was very kind and purchased the top of the line Pfaff sewing machine anyway and over the next three years we became friends. As machines and software improved, she began to digitize designs for computer embroidery. I am happy to say that I saw some of the first sew outs of Dogs 1, 2, and 3 and also Bears 1 and 2. At that time, neither of us knew quite how far this would take her. She and her husband Bill formed their company and Lindee quickly became an internationally known, digitizer of distinction. Then about six years ago, they relocated their home and company to Tucson, Arizona and we lost touch even though I continued to keep up with her progress. In March of 2001, I was teaching at Cathey’s Sew & Vac in Tucson, Arizona. As I was demonstrating...who appeared but Lindee and Bill. After class and a tour of their facility, we had some discussions about what my thoughts were on doing some Signature design disks with them. Well, needless to say I was excited! At that time the decision was made to recreate some of the designs from my books into disk form so that all embroidery machine owners would be able to create the beauty. When I explained my ideas for a new line of book and CD combinations Lindee was very excited to be part of it. I have to tell you...this has definitely been a progression of ideas and designs. When we first started out, there was to be one design disk titled Oriental Reflections...well, I couldn’t seem to stop coming up with ideas for landscapes and I needed more than just ten trees for my collections. I needed shrubs and flowers too. On the Scenery Ingredients CD’s, you will find incredibly detailed landscape designs (digitized by Lindee herself, I might add...) that are perfect for any kind of landscapes.
