To start out with, “What the heck is it?” Fabri-Scrapping!™ is the name I’ve given to my techniques of scrapbooking with fabric. All fabric, not just a piece here or there. As beautiful as the paper scrapbooking is, what do you do with the volumes you have created except, get them out and show them to your friends and relatives...time and time again and then put them away again...until the next time you can coerce them into spending a couple of hours with you looking at them again. (Now don’t take offense at that, all you Scrapbooking fiends...I love it too, or I wouldn’t be doing the fabric version of it... ) Now on the other hand...what can you do with Fabri-Scrapping! ™ ? Well, let’s see…Sweatshirts, Tote Bags, Purses, Wall Hangings...Had enough yet? How about Baby Bibs, Shirts, Rompers, Denim Shirts, Pillows, Curtains, Bedspreads, Baby Blankets, and are you ready for the big one? Ta Da!!! QUILTS!!!! What is the most important aspect of this technique? Printing on Fabric!!! Of Course! When I wrote my first book on printing landscape scenes with the new printer fabric a few years ago, I was hooked. How fabulous! We were limited to one kind of washable fabric then and it worked well, as long as you were VERY careful about washing it. Then last year I met someone who had a entirely different product. Color Plus Printer fabric from Color Textiles. My goodness...you could actually wash it and it stayed pretty. Amazing! And...what do you know...she had more than one size and more than one type of fabric. Oh my goodness! Oh my goodness! Do you know what this means? You can actually print your own fabric yardages! Hold me up here...I might faint!!! The possibilities are undeniably infinite.  Since this entire concept has completely overwhelmed me, the printing on fabric, then printing your own fabric and now Fabri-Scrapping! ™ ! What’s next?!?
